Floral Creamsicle Mani

Hi there everyone, happy Thursday.  Not much going on here besides wishing it was Friday instead of Thursday.  I'm a little annoyed because my car was in the shop for 8 days getting the windows fixed and parts repainted and now the check engine light is on.  Seriously ?  That's annoying!  I'm definitely looking forward to resting over the weekend.  I think the hubs and I are going to see Godzilla on Friday.  It's not something I would think to see but he was excited about it and the preview looks cool.

Today I have a very Spring-y manicure that I really enjoyed.  Lately I've been too busy to do intricate nail art, and water decals are a great way to add some pizzazz on the nail.  For today's look, I used some floral water decals from Born Pretty Store, which is an online retailer of nail art supplies.

To create this super easy look, I started with a base of Maybelline Color Show Bleached in Peach which is from the new Bleached Neons collection.  On my accent nail, I used two coats of Jindie Nails Hex on the Beach over the Maybelline Polish.

To apply the water decals, you simply take the sheet of decals, cut out the decal you want, and dip it in water.  I think because I used cold water, it took a little longer for the decals to slide off the backing.  I then take my thumb and slide the decal on the nail.  It's important to note that the decals will slide around the nail until you apply topcoat.  My mom called me midway into this mani and I mysteriously lost all the decals on my thumb haha!  Finish with topcoat and that's it!

I loved the Spring look of these decals, which can be found here (Item 12686).  Also don't forget to use the coupon code below to get a discount on your order!  What do you think of this mani, let me know down below.
