31 Day Challenge: Rainbow Nails

Hi everyone, welcome to a new week.  I inadvertently took yesterday off.  I was all set with a base of OPI Blue My Mind and then I couldn't think of anything...and then another weird thing happened.  The hubby and I went grocery shopping early in the morning and when we got home I decided to organize all the things!  I started with the pantry and the laundry room throwing out old food, organizing it so we could actually see the top of our washer, and getting things neat and clean.  I then took on the "mail station" which is just a short cabinet by the door where the mail gets dropped, and organized all the old mail including taking out the mail to be shredded.  I then finished by cleaning out my closet and dresser and getting rid of all of my beat up and overworn clothes, getting a big pile to donate, and setting aside all the clothes that don't fit anymore.  I'm pretty proud of how productive I was yesterday.  Thankfully I did this mani ahead of time two weeks ago, because after all of that, I didn't want to do anything besides settle in with some netflix.

For this mani I started off with a base of the sheer pink OPI I Theodora You with an accent nail of OPI Rainbow Connection.  I then grabbed a ton of polishes and started layering to create a quadruple cloud mani.  Here are the colors I used:

Pointer: OPI Red Lights Ahead...Where?, Zoya Thandie, Zoya Darcy, China Glaze Happy Go Lucky

Middle: Julep Abbie, Zoya Josie, Zoya Blu, Essie In The Cab-ana

Pinky: Zoya Rocky, Essie Butler Please, OPI Plugged-in Plum, OPI Vant To Bite My Neck?

Although this wouldn't be something that I would sport at work or on a daily basis, I really like the finished look/am slightly ashamed I have that many colors that I didn't have to mix any.  I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with for Rainbow day.
