Nails Inspired By: Floral kitty collar

Hi there polish friends and welcome to Monday.  I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend.  All in all it was a pretty good long holiday weekend and we definitely set a record for the number of fires we had in the fire pit and days in a row where s'mores were consumed :)  As many of you know, today is my MRI for my migraines.  I am already nervous even though I have a half day of work to get through, but I want to thank you guys for all the kind words and comments.  I really do appreciate every single one of them.

To lighten to mood, I wanted to show some fun nails I did the other day.  I was looking at one of my cats and thought her collar was the perfect inspiration for a floral mani.  The colors are all very similar in her collar, so I wanted to do a more contrasted version of it.

To create this look, I started with the mani I happened to be wearing that day, which was OPI Call Me Gwen-ever (the medium orange color), with an accent nail of Orly Glowstick (neon yellow) and OPI Extra-va-vaganza! (glitter accent).  For the flowers, I used a small nail art brush and OPI Alpine Snow for the petals and a dotting tool with OPI I Just Can't Cope-acabana as the yellow centers.

I wanted to include pictures of Immie but they were all on my old phone that bit the dust and lost everything on it.  I hope you enjoyed this post and naturally I will have to do the other two cats collars because that would only be fair :)
