Shimmer Polish Elsa and some Patriotic Looks
Hi everyone, happy Fourth of July to all of my fellow USA gals. Today's plan is to relax and hang out and then go watch the fireworks later. We had a bonfire last night and saw some of our neighbors shooting off fireworks. That was fun :) I also found it funny that I woke up this morning, got up, and found my husband in the man room playing old school Nintendo with the pixelated Mario. Now he's on to the Playstation 2 as I type this post.Today I have several looks that I created with Shimmer Polish Elsa, a glitterbomb filled with turquoise, gold, and red glitters in a clear base. I was so happy with my previous Shimmer purchases that I sacrificed my Julep box to get three more beauties. That was a good decision :) I wanted to show the versatility of this polish and how I've worn it several different ways over the past week.
First up we have three coats of Elsa to create an opaque glossy look.
Below is one coat of Shimmer Elsa over Essie Go Overboard, a deep teal blue.
Next up is three coats of Shimmer Elsa to create an opaque look, but mattified! Look at all that glittery goodness!
Next up is my first patriotic look. I started with three coats of China Glaze Dandy Lyin' Around, a shimmery soft white polish. I used tape to create a diagonal with Essie Sunday Funday and then used Essie Go Overboard to create a cloud pattern on the tips. To finish it off, I used a little bit of Shimmer Elsa for a subtle glitter gradient.
Last up is the mani that I'm sporting today. I started off with two coats of OPI The Spy Who Loved Me, a glowy red with a hint of golden shimmer. For my ring finger I used OPI Oy Another Polish Joke. I created a glitter gradient with Shimmer Elsa building up to three coats on the tips. I really loved how this one came out!
Last up is a pretty macro bottle shot...so much glitter goodness!
I hope you enjoyed Shimmer Elsa, I know I'm obsessed. I'm pretty sure Shimmer is my new favorite brand :) What are your plans for today?
My goodness, what stunning manis. You did a super job highlighting the positives of this must-have polish!!!!
