OPI Mustang Collection Comparisons

Hi guys, happy Wednesday.  I hope everyone is doing well.  Today I will be showing you comparisons with the OPI Mustang Collection.  If you missed out on swatches, you can find them here.  Although most of these colors don't seem too original, I found that I couldn't really find any dupes.  Let's check them all out below.

First up is my favorite from the collection, OPI The Sky's My Limit, which is a medium blue with strong gold shimmer.  Compared to this one, Zoya Muse is chunkier but has the same colors in it.  It definitely has pieces of glitter and a more jelly formula.  OPI Yodel Me on my Cell is the next closest color I had but it definitely is darker and has microshimmer.

Next up is OPI Angel with a Leadfoot, which is the stark white of the collection.  I tried my hardest to figure out the difference between this one and OPI Alpine Snow.  I think Angel with a Leadfoot might have one drop of cream in it, but they were so close I'd consider them dupes.  Formula wise, Alpine Snow is a nice and smooth two coater whereas Angel with a Leadfoot needed three coats and was streaky.  Also, OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls is clearly more of a grey-white.

As I mentioned in my swatch post, OPI 50 Years of Style is a very cool-toned gold.  Anything remotely warm toned was nothing like this.  OPI Glitzerland is very shimmery and OPI Love.Angel.Music.Baby is lighter and dries to a satin finish, basically matte to semi-matte.  50 Years of Style is more frosty but I still really like it.

Okay, up next is a ton of red comparisons.  I basically pulled every vibrant red-orange polish I had.  Out of these four, Race Red is the most deep and vibrant of them all.  Essie Saturday Disco Fever is more orange and also dries to a satin finish.  Zoya Rocha looks dusty compared to Race Red and Barielle Fire Me Up is also more orange toned.

Next up is another comparison to Race Red.  OPI A Good Man-darin is Hard to Find is slightly more orange than Race Red.  OPI Red Lights Ahead...Where? is more of a true red and OPI Tasmanian Devil Made Me Do It is probably the closest I pulled compared to Race Red.

Next up, another big comparison with these medium magentas that OPI loves to do.  Compared to OPI Girls Love Ponies, OPI That's Berry Daring is warm toned whereas Girls Love Ponies is cooler.  OPI Koala Bear-y has a hint of wine color to it compared to the others and OPI Pompeii Purple has a lilac iridescence to it.

Continuing on the with magentas, OPI Hey Baby is slightly warmer than Girls Love Ponies.  OPI I'm Indi-a Mood For Love is even cooler than Girls Love Ponies.  I think that OPI 50 is the New Fabulous is the closest to OPI Girls Love Ponies.

Next up is an easier comparison, OPI Queen of the Road.  Zoya Claudine from last Fall has much more microshimmer.  OPI 4 in the Morning is a little bit cooler toned and also dries to a satin finish.  OPI Queen of the Road is the most metallic.

I hope you guys enjoyed this comparison and found it helpful!  Have a great Wednesday.
