Pastel Proper Penguins

Hi everyone, happy Hump Day.   Yes, I had to check the calender to make sure it was Wednesday :)  As I sit here, I realize I have nothing interesting to say haha!  Yesterday was filled with work, cuddling the cats and watching Netflix after work, and now I'm back at work.  What a thrilling life I lead ;)  Might as well get into it then.

Today I have another mani that I did during a spree of winter nail art.  This is another mani that was inspired by a Pinterest picture I saw of a white felt penguin on a blue background with a tiny cobalt blue bowtie.  I did this mani and then realized (with the help of my husband's confused looks) that it looked like a weird white snowman with a bowtie.  That is why they have the grey outlines :)

For this look, I started with a base of one of my newest OPI's, I Vant to be A-lone Star with an accent nail of OPI Metallic 4 Life.  For everything else, I used a small nail art brush.  I started with the white outline of the penguin with Maybelline Porcelain Party and then used Essie Licorice for the eyes, OPI Yellowpalooza for the beak, and Essie Butler Please for the bowties.  I finished off by defining the penguin in grey with OPI Suzi Takes the Wheel.

So what do you think?  Do you like my proper penguins?  :)
