Blue Studded Christmas

*Press Sample
Hi everyone, happy Hump Day.  I woke up this morning to a little cat laying like a person next to my pillow.  That's how I want to wake up every day :)  One of our cats pretty much only sleeps when we do so I guess in turn she must want to sleep like a person as well.   Usually she has to sleep with her head on one of our pillows.  I just love it.

Today is my work Christmas party.  Every year it gets more awkward and takes up less and less time.  This year there is no gift exchange or games so we will eat and then go back to work.  Do you guys have holiday parties where you work?  Are they fun or is this something everyone dreads?  Well today I have a glitzy blue mani paired with some studs I received from KKCenterHK, which is an online nail art supply and polish store.

To create this look, I started with a base of OPI Eurso Euro.  Awhile back, I won a giveaway sponsored by KKCenterHK and one of the products in the prize was an iridescent nail polish by Ebalay.  It doesn't have the name on the bottle but my guess is that it's this one, the Rose Pink polish.  As if this wasn't sparkly enough, I then took a silver glitter, Orly Tiara, and did a stripe down the middle.

To complete the look, I finished off with my ice blue KKCenterHK studs.  These studs are a light blue diamond shape in the 3.5mm size.  You receive about 100 studs in the package and I really like that they come in a plastic jar with a twist on lid.  To apply the studs, I added topcoat to my polish and applied the studs with regular tweezers.

Overall I was really happy with the final look of this mani and was impressed with the quality of the studs.  I can see using these for a frosty look in winter and as something blue and oceany in the summer.

These studs can be found here and retail for $4.50 for the jar of 100 studs.  You can also receive an additional 10% off with the coupon code "paintthosepiggies".

*These studs were received for review in exchange for my honest opinion.
