Hi everyone, hope your week is going well :) Today I have the last day of Battle Ombre, light blue vs. dark blue. Based on your votes so far, the giveaway polishes will be green if one of these blues doesn't beat it out. Since this is the last round of voting, I plan to announce the color winner and start the giveaway this weekend :) Don't forget to vote for your favorite in the upper right hand corner of the page, otherwise, green will win ;)
I have so many blues in my collection that it seemed fitting to do a light sky blue versus a darker cobalt blue. For the light blues I used Zoya Blu, Essie In the Cab-ana, Zoya Rocky, China Glaze Sunday Funday, and Essie Avenue Maintain.
For the darker blues, I used Essie Butler Please, OPI Eurso Euro, OPI Keeping Suzi at Bay, OPI I Saw...You Saw...We Saw Warsaw, and OPI Incognito in Sausalito.
Don't forget to vote for your favorite in the upper right corner. Let me know what you think!
The light blue one is way to dreamy to not vote for :))
ReplyDeleteI really, really love these pretty light blues, and they look great as an ombre! I hadn't really looked as Sausalito before, though, and it's such an intriguing colour...I think it might have to follow me home next shopping trip. ;)
ReplyDeleteThey are both great :) I voted for the light one, because I like the colors, but really both are nice. The light one for the summer and the dark one for winter :)
ReplyDeleteI like both but the light blue a tiiiny bit more lol Especially Essie In the Cab-ana- such a pretty colour! :))
ReplyDeleteI love this :) I'm a new follower to your blog, I can't wait to see more posts! Hope to see you around my blog xo

I voted for light blue because I love individually all the colors you chose for that, and they look even more awesome combined! :)

Hey, I came here from the beginner bootcamp and my blog and I must say I like it here! (Ok, the blue lover in me is also a bit biased by this article...) I like how you seem to be so consistent with your pictures, with 3 different poses every time! Maybe your palm is sometimes a bit too dark though? I'm not sure but I would maybe crop it a tiny bit more or add some light to it, I get a bit the feeling that there is a light unbalance (does this makes sense?) You have very pretty hands and nails ! ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your input. Admittedly I have a really bad lightbox (it's been through two moves and is pretty much held together with cardboard and duct tape) so I am looking into rebuilding it/building a proper one :) Thank you for the suggestion and the kind words!
